Canola will be Canada's Major edible vegetable oil into the foreseeable future. It is a premium quality vegetable oil. It is well adapted to Canadian production; in fact canola is the only temperate climate adapted edible oil. There are all sorts of research going on to create even healthier and different niche market forms of canola oil to sustain market share and indeed to increase it. We're at 70% now; I don't think the canola industry will rest until we're will over 90%, all in good time. We're going into genetically modified or transgenic canolas that will have more insect resistance, more disease resistance, and healthier oils, special applications for industrial oil purposes and so on that are based on biotechnological modification of the oils in this crop.
